When we first brought Greer home from the hospital I was not sure how Helmsley would act. He was the baby and on that day he became a dog. It's funny how that happens without a second thought. Don't get me wrong, he still has it good...very good. He has always been good with Greer, but always stayed back. Once Greer started crawling he began to like her alittle more. Now that she is walking they have the best time together. To be honest it may not have anything to do with her crawling or walking. Now that I think about it, it probably has something to do with her eating real food. He knows she will give it to him. Greer loves him so much and I can now say he loves her back. It is so funny to watch them play together. He is so patient with her. The other day Greer put her crown on him. One thing about Helmsley, he has always liked to dress up. They played dress up for a little bit and I am sure this will not be Helmsley's last time.

I think you may be on to something about Helmsley enjoying his constant treat giver. He probably also likes having someone around who's only as tall as he is!
