I am still not finished with 2008

If it weren't for those of you who tell me I need to update my blog, I would think everyone has given up on reading it due to my lack of "keeping it current". I am going to do my best on getting caught up and staying on track. It has just been really busy around here.
I posted alot of pictures in December, but did not write anything. I guess I need to start there...

In October, we had Greer's 2nd birthday along with Addyson, Juliana, and Lauren. Since seven of Greer's friends have birthdays in October having a group birthday freed up some weekends. And another great thing about having a group birthday is that you get to do alot more, but not go over budget.
We tried to make it like a fall carnival. The children dressed up in their Halloween costumes. For entertainment we had: pony rides, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and cookie and pumpkin decorating. The Menu: Hot Dogs, Cotton Candy, Nachos, Cookies on sticks, Cupcakes, and Funnel Cakes. I think everyone (including the parents) had a great time.

The Tuesday before Halloween a group of us took the kids to Boo at the Zoo. It was alot of fun and so much better than when we had to work it in High School. They have made it like a carnival with games, rides, and carnival food.

Halloween was a blast. We started our Halloween early. Greer had to make numerous stops in her costume. We went to see Dr. Phillips a.k.a Uncle Eddie and Char Char (Our real aunt) at their office, the we went by Cookie's office, had lunch with D, and went to Josh's Office. I think I even took a nap with her that day. After Daddy got home we went to a Ella's Going Away Halloween Party. She moved to Colorado after the party. We miss them bunches! Then we headed to the church for Trunk or Treat. Some of you know that I don't like giving Greer junk to eat, but Halloween I made an exception. I don't think Greer had a bit of "real food' all day. Junk, Junk , and more Junk. She loved it!

November was busy, Thanksgiving was great, and I turned 30. Enough said.:)

Erin started the Christmas season with a Cookie Party for the kids.It was so precious and she worked so hard. Not only did she have everything you might need to decorate a cookie, but she made sure the kids had their own cookie box, sippy cup, snacks and, more impressive, made each of them an apron. Greer and I had so much fun and Greer was so proud of her cookies.

Christmas gets it's own post.
